Lekkerwijn’s courtyard is formed from the single story original homestead built in the 1700s and the bedroom wing addition and balcony designed by Sir Herbert Baker built in 1908. The centre point of the courtyard is an ancient pomegranite tree which , along with a large palm tree also in the courtyard, is older than the 100 year old new additions.
