Meals

All of the room rates in the main house include breakfast.  We provide fruit, cereals, fresh orange juice, muffins, yoghurt and a cooked breakfast.  We are happy to cater for any special dietary needs that you may have.  Breakfast is normally served in the dining room and can also be served in the Courtyard.

Other meals during your stay can be provided by prior arrangement.  Lekkerwijn can offer a range of meals  e.g. :

• local cheeses, wine and biscuits
• local cuisine: babotie, brede (chicken, lamb or tomato)
• roast chicken or lamb with seasonal vegetables
• formal dinners for special occasions
• braais/BBQs can be arranged at the pool or in the garden

Use of kitchen facilities

Guests staying in the main house have shared access to a small kitchen area (microwave, small stove, fridge etc ) where they can prepare light meals, snacks and children’s food. Crockery, cutlery and glasses are all provided.

Eating out at Allee Bleue Winery & Bistro

Allee Bleue Winery is located right next door to Lekkerwijn and only a few minutes walk away. The Bistro at Allee Bleue is open during the daytime and serves wonderful breakfasts, lunches and coffees.  They can also provide picnic lunches to be eaten on the property.

Allee Bleue can, by prior arrangement, cater in the evenings for parties of 10 or more guests staying at Lekkerwijn . The excellent chef at the Allee Bleue Bistro can offer a tailor made menu to suit all occasions.
